  Lesser Yellowlegs were found at Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire and Sprouston, Borders, the latter just the second for the county.

Lingering rarities still present included the Yellow-crowned Night Heron in County Mayo, Stejneger's Scoter in Lothian, White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire, two Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Antrim, two Black-winged Stilts in Cambridgeshire and another in Norfolk, Red-footed Falcon in Cumbria and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.
