| New discoveries today included a Brown Booby flying past Porthgwarra in Cornwall, Franklin's Gull on Fetlar in Shetland, Black Kite near Huntly in Aberdeenshire, Long-billed Dowitcher at The Cull in County Wexford, and Red-footed Falcons at Wedholme Flow in Cumbria, and Carlton Marshes in Suffolk.
Lingering rarities included the Black-winged Pratincole and Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire, Elegant Tern in County Mayo, Least Tern in County Dublin Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire, Yellow-crowned Night Heron in County Mayo, and American Black Tern in Northumberland. |
