| A quiet midsummer's day saw the wandering Caspian Tern put in a brief appearance at Arnold's Marsh, Cley, Norfolk, this evening. It then flew west past Scolt Head, also in Norfolk. In Cambridgeshire, the two Black-winged Stilts were still to be found at Smithey Fen.
Lingering rarities included the White-winged Scoter in Aberdeenshire, the Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, the Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and the two Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire. |
