| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Solitary Sandpiper on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly.
Elsewhere lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Yellow-crowned Night Heron in County Mayo, American Black Tern in Northumberland, two Caspian Terns together in Carmarthenshire, Great Reed Warbler still on territory in Cambridgeshire, Savi's Warblers in both West Sussex and County Wexford, White-rumped Sandpiper on the Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in West Yorkshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire. |
