  A Black Kite was at Pett Level, East Sussex this morning.

Lingering rarities still present included the Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Black Duck and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo, Marmora's Warbler in Shetland, Great Reed Warbler in Cambridgeshire, Least Tern in County Dublin and American Black Tern in Northumberland.

Significant news from yesterday concerned a Common Yellowthroat and a Myrtle Warbler seen flying from the Queen Mary 2 cruise ship as she docked in Port of Southampton, Hampshire.
