  New discoveries today included a Collared Flycatcher on at Kilnsea in East Yorkshire, an Iberian Chiffchaff at Leasowe on The Wirral, an Eastern Subalpine Warbler at Scatness in Shetland, a Black Kite at Deal in Kent, a Bee-Eater at Mingulay in Western Isles, and a Pallid Harrier at The Skerries, Angelsey.

Lingering rarities included the Savi's Warbler in County Louth and East Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Essex, Lincolnshire, and Yorkshire, Black-winged Stilts in Essex, Lincolnshire, and West Yorkshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Red-breasted Goose in Lincolnshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset and White-billed Diver in Moray.
