Tuesday 30th April 2024
The highlight of the day was the discovery of an Elegant Tern in County Mayo on Achill Island whilst in West Yorkshire a Black-winged Stilt arrived at Swillington Ings, and in Nottinghamshire a Black Kite was reported at Hoveringham.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the territorial Savi's Warbler still in East Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Norfolk and County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and in Lincolnshire Red-breasted Goose, Lesser Yellowlegs, and Black-winged Stilt were all together at Frampton Marsh.
