  The new discovery today was a Black-winged Stilt at Hook Links in Hampshire, Pallid Harrier at Garso, North Ronaldsay, and late news Black Kite at Lady's Island Lake in County Wexford.

Lingering rarities still present included the Slate-coloured Junco in Cleveland, Savi's Warbler in Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in East Yorkshire, two Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire, two Gull-billed Terns in Western Isles, Red-breasted Goose in Lincolnshire, Black Kite in County Wexford, and White-billed Divers in Moray and Aberdeenshire.
