  A Red-rumped Swallow was seen at Wadebridge, in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull at Wareham in Dorset, Little Bitterns at Waterville in County Kerry and The Lizard in Cornwall respectively, Wilson's Phalarope at Falcarragh in County Donegal, Lesser Scaup at Walton Hall Marshes in Essex, and Arctic Redpoll at Clingera on Shetland.

Lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Western Subalpine Warbler and Forster's Tern in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitchers in Norfolk and East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs, Black-winged Stilt, Bonaparte's Gulls in Carmarthenshire and County Galway, Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk and Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaups in Suffolk (two), Cumbria (two), Essex, Glamorgan, Ferruginous Duck in Kent, White-billed Divers in Aberdeenshire and Moray.
