	A Ferruginous Duck was a new arrival at Stanford Reservoir, on the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border. Lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Western Subalpine Warbler in Dorset, Red-rumped Swallow in County Cork, Pallid Swift in Scilly, Squacco Heron in Pembrokshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, another Lesser Yellowlegs, Black-winged Stilt and Red-breasted Goose in Lincolnshire, another Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Lesser Scaups in Suffolk (two) and Glamorgan and White-billed Divers in Moray and Aberdeenshire.
