  The highlights of the day were the discoveries of a Black Kite in Nottinghamshire at Langford and a Ferruginous Duck at Westhay Moor, Somerset .

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Bufflehead in Perth and Kinross, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Pallid Harrier between Carmarthenshire and Glamorgan, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Norfolk and County Wicklow, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan, and two Ferruginous Ducks together in Cheshire.
