| New discoveries today included a Long-billed Dowitcher at Kilcoole, County Wicklow and single Alpine Swifts over Bristol, Somerset and Studland, Dorset.
Lingering rarities still present included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Lesser Scaups in Cheshire, Lancashire (two), County Monaghan and County Armagh, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Donegal, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk. |
