| A Red-breasted Goose was discovered on Burgh Marsh, Cumbria with Barnacle Geese today.
Lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Rustic Bunting in Norfolk, White-winged Scoter in County Kerry, Lesser Scaups in Devon, County Waterford, County Armagh and Lancashire (two), Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, King Eider in Lothian, three Red-breasted Geese in Essex, White-billed Diver in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitcher in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and County Louth, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall. |

| The 'Patagonia picnic table effect' played out in inland Norfolk today where a glimpsed Coues's Arctic Redpoll with Mealy Redpolls at Helhoughton led to the discovery of a Rustic Bunting in the same field.
