| The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Northern Harrier in County Cork at Ballyvergan Marsh.
Rarities elsewhere comprised the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Black Duck in County Mayo, three Red-breasted Geese together in Essex, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, King Eiders in Lothian and Shetland Isles, and Lesser Scaups in County Armagh and Lancashire (2). |
