| The 'Patagonia picnic table effect' played out in inland Norfolk today where a glimpsed Coues's Arctic Redpoll with Mealy Redpolls at Helhoughton led to the discovery of a Rustic Bunting in the same field.
Elsewhere lingering rarities comprised the Myrtle Warbler still in Ayrshire, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Red-breasted Geese in Essex (2) and Norfolk, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, King Eider in Lothian, and Lesser Scaups in Clyde, Essex (2), and Lancashire (2). |
