  Lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Lesser Scaups in Essex (five), Lancashire (two) and Clyde, King Eider in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Red-breasted Geese in Norfolk, Argyll and Essex, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire.

Sunday 3rd March 2024  
  New discoveries today included a pair of Lesser Scaups at Leighton Moss RSPB, Lancashire (relocating overnight from near Blackpool), a single drake Lesser Scaup at Angliham, County Galway and a White-billed Diver off Holy Island, Northumberland.

Lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Lesser Scaups in Essex (four), County Waterford, County Armagh and Clyde, King Eider in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall.

Saturday 2nd March 2024  
  The highlight today was a Bonaparte's Gull reported in Cornwall at Kenneggy, and two Lesser Scaups in Lancashire in Blackpool.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Kentish Plover in Somerset, King Eider in Lothian, Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wexford and Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and County Louth, five Lesser Scaups in Essex(5), Clyde, and Pembrokeshire, Red-breasted Geese in Argyll and Norfolk, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Glamorgan.

  Lingering rarities still present today included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, five Lesser Scaups in Essex and one in County Waterford and Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.

  Rarities today comprised the Myrtle Warbler still in Ayrshire, Bufflehead still in County Westmeath, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Pallid Harriers in Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and County Louth, White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire and Lesser Scaups in Essex (4) and Pembrokeshire (1).

  Rarities today comprised the Myrtle Warbler still in Ayrshire, Bufflehead still in County Westmeath, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier together in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, and Lesser Scaups in Essex (5) and Clyde.

  The highlight today was a Bufflehead in County Westmeath at Mullingar at Lough Sheelin.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Lesser Scaup in Western Isles, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and County Louth.

  Rarities in Britain today comprised the Myrtle Warbler still in Ayrshire, Baikal Teal still in Somerset, Pallid Harriers in Glamorgan, Norfolk, and East Yorkshire, King Eider in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, and Lesser Scaups in Clyde, Essex (3), and the Western Isles.

In Ireland the Double-crested Cormorant remains in County Leitrim, Black Duck in County Mayo, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo, and Lesser Scaup in County Waterford.
