  New discoveries today included a pair of Lesser Scaups at Leighton Moss RSPB, Lancashire (relocating overnight from near Blackpool), a single drake Lesser Scaup at Angliham, County Galway and a White-billed Diver off Holy Island, Northumberland.

Lingering rarities included the Myrtle Warbler in Ayrshire, Gull-billed Tern in County Cork, Lesser Scaups in Essex (four), County Waterford, County Armagh and Clyde, King Eider in Lothian, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire, Red-breasted Goose and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Louth, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in Cornwall.
