  Rarities today comprised Baikal Teal and Kentish Plover both still in Somerset, Black Scoter still in Norfolk, Red-breasted Geese in Essex, Hampshire, and Northumberland, Pallid Harriers between Carmarthenshire and Glamorgan and in Norfolk, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, King Eider in Lothian, White-billed Diver on the Orkney Isles, and Lesser Scaups in County Armagh, Essex (5), and Pembrokeshire.
