  New discoveries today included a Long-billed Dowitcher at Dungarvan, County Waterford and a Lesser Scaup at Loch Leven, Perth and Kinross.

Lingering rarities still present included the Northern Waterthrush and Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, Pied-billed Grebe, Bufflehead and White-winged Scoter in County Galway, another White-winged Scoter in County Kerry, Baikal Teal in County Durham, Lesser Scaups in Devon, Somerset, Pembrokeshire (two) and County Sligo, another Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Argyll, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in Sussex and County Wexford, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Glamorgan/Carmarthenshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall.
