  The highlight of the day was a late report of a Two-barred Crossbill seen yesterday in Dumfries and Galloway at Birkshaw Forest.

Elsewhere rarities comprised the Northern Waterthrush and Red-breasted Goose both still in Essex, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Baikal Teal in County Durham, Red-breasted Goose, Pallid Harrier, and two Ferruginous Ducks all in Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, and Lesser Scaup in Somerset, Devon (5) and Pembrokeshire.
