  A Lesser Yellowlegs was a new discovery at Fleetwood in Lancashire.

Lingering rarities included the Northern Waterthrush and Canvasback in Essex, Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon (three), Somerset, Pembrokeshire, County Waterford and Western Isles, Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk (two) and Cambridgeshire, Red-breasted Geese in Essex, Norfolk and Northumberland, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in Sussex and two Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall.
