| Discoveries today included a Penduline Tit in County Cork at Lough Beg, and a Lesser Scaup on the Orkney Isles at Loch of Harray, Mainland.
Elsewhere lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Canvasback in Essex, Black-throated Thrush in East Yorkshire, Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Norfolk, Pallid Harriers in Glamorgan and Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim, Lesser Scaup in Devon, Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire, White-billed Diver on the Orkney Isles (4) and Shetland Isles, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Suffolk, and East Yorkshire. |
