Lingering rarities present included the Red-breasted Goose in Yellow-browed Warbler, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in County Waterford and Pembrokeshire, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Pallid Harriers in Norfolk, Carmarthenshire, and Glamorgan.

  A Bonaparte's Gull was found at Blennerville, County Kerry.

Lingering rarities present included the Black-throated Thrush in Yorkshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaup in County Waterford, Ferruginous Duck in Gloucestershire, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk.

  Rarities today comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler still in Devon, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, and Lesser Scaup in Clyde.

Tuesday 12th December 2023  
  Rarities today comprised the Canvasback still in Essex, Black-throated Thrush still in East Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler in Devon, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Lesser Scaups in Devon (5) and Somerset, Ferruginous Duck in Gloucestershire, and two White-billed Divers together on the Shetland Isles.

Monday 11th December 2023  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Bonaparte's Gull in County Antrim at Rathlin Island.

Elsewhere lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Canvasback in Essex, Eastern White-crowned Sparrow Cornwall, Black-throated Thrush in East Yorkshire, Hume's Warbler in Devon, Pallid Harriers in Glamorgan and Norfolk, Eastern Yellow Wagtail on the Isles of Scilly, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Scaups in Somerset and Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in both Lincolnshire and Suffolk, and two Ferruginous Ducks together in Norfolk.

Significant late news from Saturday concerned a Trindade Petrel that flew past Pendeen Watch, Cornwall.

Sunday 10th December 2023  
  A Black-throated Thrush at Tophill Low NR in East Yorkshire. Other long staying rarities seen today included the Canvasback in Essex, two Pallid Harriers in Norfolk and Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Scaup in Somerset, (1) Devon (5), and Western Isles, Eastern Yellow Wagtail on Scilly, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, two Ferruginous Ducks, Coues's Arctic Redpoll, and the Hume's Warbler remained in Devon.

Saturday 9th December 2023  
  Two Barolo Shearwaters flew past Bridges of Ross in County Waterford. Other long staying rarities seen today included the Canvasback in Essex, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Lesser Scaup in County Waterford (1) and Devon (5), Eastern Yellow Wagtail on Scilly, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, and the Hume's Warbler remained in Devon.

Friday 8th December 2023  
  A Lesser Scaup was found at Knockaderry Reservoir in County Waterford, whilst another lingered in Somerset. Other long staying rarities seen today included the Eastern White-crowned Sparrow in Cornwall, Canvasback in Essex, Ferruginous Ducks in Gloucestershire and Nottinghamshire and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, and the Hume's Warbler remained in Devon.

Rarities today comprised the Eastern White-crowned Sparrow still in Cornwall at Rosudgeon, Pallid Harrier still in Norfolk, Kentish Plover still in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs still in Lincolnshire, and Lesser Scaups in both Devon (five together at Lower Tamar Lake) and Somerset.

Wednesday 6th December 2023  
 

Discoveries today comprised of an Eastern Yellow Wagtail on Scilly on St.Mary's at Longstone, and a Hume's Warbler in Devon at Clennon Valley Lakes.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Eastern White-crowned Sparrow in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Ferruginous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Lesser Scaups in both Devon (5) and Somerset, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lincolnshire, and Kentish Plover still in Somerset.
