A White-crowned Sparrow was found today in a garden at Rosudgeon in west Cornwall. However, access tomorrow may not be straightforward. Also in the south west, an Isabelline Wheatear was found near Kimmeridge in Dorset. A Bonaparte's Gull was found at Ballyconneely in County Galway and a Red-breasted Goose was at Banks Marsh in Lancashire.

Lingering rarities reported today comprised the Canvasback in Essex, Red-breasted Goose in Northumberland, seven Lesser Scaup - five together still on the Devon/Cornwall border plus singles in Clyde and the Western Isles, Ferrugnous Duck in Nottinghamshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall and Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk
