  New discoveries today consisted of a Red-breasted Goose at Gartnatra, Argyll, four Lesser Scaup at Slapton, Devon, Ferruginous Duck at Bluntisham, Cambridgeshire, and Long-billed Dowitcher at Tacumshin in County Wexford.

Lingering rarities included the Cape May Warbler in Scilly, Canvasback in Essex, #### in Argyll, Lesser Scaup in Devon, Long-billed Dowitcher in East Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs' in Suffolk and Lincolnshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, Red-headed Bunting and Blue-winged Teal in East Yorkshire, and two Ferruginous Ducks in Norfolk.
