Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Ross's Gull in Aberdeenshire, American Herring Gull in Highland, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, Hume's Warbler in Kent, Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Northumberland, Long-billed Dowitcher in Norfolk, White-rumped Sandpiper in Gloucestershire, King Eider in Cleveland, and Lesser Scaups in Oxfordshire and Western Isles.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Nottinghamshire), American Wigeon (Oxfordshire), two each of both Richard's Pipit and Snow Goose, three of Little Bunting, Lapland Bunting, and Great Grey Shrike, four of Surf Scoter and Green-winged Teal, eight Waxwings, nine Glossy Ibises, 13 Shorelarks, and a total of 17 Ring-necked Ducks.

Incoming summer migrants included three House Martins, three Wheatears, and a Swallow (Anglesey).
