| A new Hume's Warbler was discovered in Kent today, at Enbrook Park, Folkestone.
Lingering rarities still present included the Isabelline Wheatear in Cornwall, Hume's Warbler in Somerset, Baikal Teal in Gwynedd, Hooded Merganser in County Mayo, Lesser Scaups in Surrey and Somerset, King Eider in Cleveland, three Ferruginous Ducks, Richardson's Cackling Goose, Long-billed Dowitcher and Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset and Greater Yellowlegs in County Waterford. Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Richard's Pipit, a Great Grey Shrike, two Little Buntings, two Lapland Buntings, five Shorelarks, 25 Waxwings, a Rough-legged Buzzard, six Glossy Ibises, three American Wigeon, three Green-winged Teal, four Surf Scoters, 21 Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, eight Tundra Bean Geese, 12 Taiga Bean Geese, three Ring-billed Gulls, three Kumlien's Gulls, ten Glaucous Gulls and 26 Iceland Gulls. |
