  Lingering rarities seen today included the Black-browed Albatross in Cornwall (today off Pendeen Watch), Hume's Warbler, Turkestan Lesser Whitethroat, Pallid Harrier and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk, further Hume's Warblers in Somerset and Kent, three Penduline Tits in County Cork and another in Kent, Kentish Plover and Lesser Scaup in Somerset, Lesser Scaup in Surrey and King Eider in Cleveland.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Great Grey Shrikes, 18 Shorelarks, 62 Waxwings, seven Glossy Ibises, a Rough-legged Buzzard, a Lady Amherst's Pheasant, two American Wigeon, three Green-winged Teal, three Surf Scoters, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, a Snow Goose, a Todd's Canada Goose, seven Tundra Bean Geese, a Little Auk, a Sabine's Gull, five Ring-billed Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls, a Kumlien's Gull and eight Iceland Gulls.
