	The mega alert went off twice with the discovery of an adult male Balitmore Oriole on Lundy Island, Devon and over in Ireland a Tyrant Flycatcher species was discovered at Inishbofin, County Galway. New rarities included a Long-billed Dowitcher in Gwynedd trapped and ringed at The Spinnies NWWT, Pallid Harrier in Dorset, Baird’s Sandpiper in Hampshire, adult Bonaparte’s Gull in County Kerry, Black Kite in Cornwall, American Buff-bellied Pipit on Scilly and Hornemann’s Arctic Redpolls on Shetland and Orkney. Lingering rarities included Pallas’s Grasshopper Warbler on St Kilda, Swainson’s Thrush and Greenish Warbler on Scilly, Red-footed Falcon in Kent and Norfolk, Forster’s Tern in County Louth, Myrtle Warbler on Shetland, 2 Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Olive-backed Pipit on Shetland and Hornemann’s Arctic Redpolls on Shetland and Orkney.
