Sunday 11th September 2022
The highlights of the day came from east Kent where a Short-toed Eagle flew over South Foreland and was later relocated on Ash Level, and an Eleonora's Falcon was present briefly at Worth Marsh; the second individual of this species at that location this year.

Discoveries elsewhere included a Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire at Kilnsea, Greenish Warbler in Fife at Fife Ness, and a Bee-eater in Dorset at Portland Bill.

On the Shetland Isles two Great Snipes and Olive-backed Pipit remained on Fair Isle, on Mainland Western Bonelli's Warbler, Ortolan Bunting, Little Bunting, Barred Warbler, and two Arctic Warblers were logged, and an Arctic Warbler on Unst, with totals from around the islands of two Common Rosefinches, two Red-backed Shrikes, and three each of both Wryneck and Yellow-browed Warbler.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Roller in Devon, Subalpine Warbler species in Lothian, Red-footed Falcon in Lancashire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and Citrine Wagtails in both Cornwall and East Yorkshire.
