The only new rarity found today was a White-rumped Sandpiper at Belvide Reservoir, Staffordshire, for a short while in the morning. Other remaining White-rumped Sandpipers were the birds at Eyebrook Reservoir in Leicestershire and Spurn in Yorkshire, however birds in Dorset and Fife were not seen today.

The drake Harlequin Duck was again at Norwick, Unst, on the Shetlands and 2 Wilson's Petrels were seen from a pelagic off Scilly, along with 40 Great and 5 Cory's Shearwaters. Lingering rarities included the Turkestan Shrike in Yorkshire, Squacco Heron in West Sussex, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Forster's Tern in County Louth and Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire (2) and Northamptonshire. The family of Black-winged Stilts remained in Lincolnshire and the Bee-eaters were still in Norfolk.

Scarcities included 2 Purple Herons, a Pectoral Sandpiper, an American Golden Plover, a Temminck's Stint, a Surf Scoter and 18 Glossy Ibises.
