| Discoveries today included White-rumped Sandpipers in Angus at Montrose Basin and Buckinghamshire at Dorney Common, and Wilson's Petrels at sea off County Cork (5) and the Isles of Scilly. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Black-browed Albatross and Turkestan Shrike together in East Yorkshire, Elegant Tern in County Galway, Stilt Sandpiper and Gull-billed Tern in Lincolnshire, Caspian Tern, White-rumped Sandpiper, and six Bee-eaters all in Norfolk, Caspian Tern in Gloucestershire, King Eider in Lothian, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire. |
