  Rarities today comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Moltoni's Warbler on the Shetland Isles, Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Caspian Terns in both Nottinghamshire (2) and Suffolk, territorial Great Reed Warblers in Norfolk and Nottinghamshire, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Black-winged Stilts in County Galway and South Yorkshire (6), and six Bee-eaters still together in Norfolk.

Scarcities included American Golden Plover (County Wexford), Golden Oriole (Essex), Hoopoe (Hertfordshire), Marsh Warbler (Shetland), Sabine's Gull (Cornwall), American Wigeon (Forth), four Glossy Ibises, and at least 49 Cory's Shearwaters.

Significant late news concerned a White-throated Sparrow present yesterday in Glamorgan at Porthcawl.
