  New discoveries today included a Gull-billed Tern at Tacumshin, County Wexford, a Rustic Bunting at Norwick, Unst, Shetland, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Clonakilty, County Cork, a Black Kite over Brading, Isle of Wight and Bee-eaters at Hayburn Wyke, Yorkshire, Boscregan, Cornwall (four) and on St Mary's, Scilly (four).

Lingering rarities still present included the Eleonora's Falcon, Red-footed Falcon and Sardinian Warbler in Kent, White-tailed Lapwing in Greater Manchester, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Roller in Cornwall, Great Reed Warbler in Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Subalpine Warbler species in Shetland, Squacco Heron in County Cork, Lesser Scaup in Merseyside, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, King Eider in Lothian, and American Black Tern in Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included a Common Rosefinch, a Hoopoe, a Lapland Bunting, two Golden Orioles, three Serins, a Dotterel, a Red-necked Phalarope, a Purple Heron, a Green-winged Teal, two Ring-necked Ducks, an American Golden Plover, two Pectoral Sandpipers, a Ring-billed Gull, a Long-tailed Skua and two Pomarine Skuas.
