  In Kent, the Eleonora's Falcon returned to Worth mid morning, where it remained until dusk. This is the first twitchable bird in Britain, following seven previous records. The Little Swift in London was also seen again, over Eltham late morning.

New discoveries today included a Squacco Heron at Clonakilty, County Cork, a Spotted Sandpiper in County Kildare, a Subalpine Warbler species on Foula, Shetland, a Black Kite over Romsey and two Red-footed Falcons at Beaulieu Road Station, both Hampshire (with two of the latter also at Worth, Kent), three Bee-eaters over Angmering, Sussex, a Red-rumped Swallow over Kilnsea, Yorkshire and a White-billed Diver in Shetland.

Other lingering rarities seen today included the Moltoni's Warbler in Pembrokeshire, Roller in Cornwall, Black-headed Bunting in Scilly, Great Reed Warbler in Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Subalpine Warbler species on Out Skerries, Shetland, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Alpine Swift in Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, Caspian Tern in Kent and American Black Tern in Northumberland.
