  Discoveries today included a Bonaparte's Gull in County Durham at Washington, a Lesser Yellowlegs in Ceredigion at Ynys-hir, and a Kentish Plover in Kent at Pegwell Bay, whilst a Black-winged Stilt in Gwent, a Red-rumped Swallow in East Yorkshire, Black Kite in Cornwall, and Bee-eater in West Yorkshire were all brief encounters.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Snowy Owl on the Western Isles, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Red-breasted Goose and three Black-winged Stilts in Norfolk, and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Londonderry.

Scarcities included Serin (County Wexford), Night Heron and Montagu's Harrier (Cornwall), Golden Oriole (Isles of Scilly), Hoopoe (Kent), Pectoral Sandpiper (Essex), Honey Buzzard (Norfolk), Green-winged Teal (Gloucestershire), Black Brant (East Yorkshire), Kumlien's Gull (Western Isles), eight Glossy Ibises, 10 Temminck's Stints, and a total of 12 migrant Dotterel.
