  The identity of a Black Scoter off Rossbeigh, County Kerry was confirmed today, having first been found on 5th March.

Other lingering rarities seen today included the Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Dusky Warbler and Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Western Isles, Baikal Teal in Yorkshire, Blue-winged Teals in Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire, two Lesser Scaups in Clyde, King Eiders in Lothian and Highland and White-billed Divers in Shetland, Moray (two) and Aberdeenshire (two).

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, four Shorelarks, a Temminck's Stint, two Spotted Crakes, 23 Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, four Green-winged Teals, six Ring-necked Ducks, a Tundra Bean Goose, two Snow Geese, a Ring-billed Gull, a Kumlien's Gull, eight Glaucous Gulls and 14 Iceland Gulls.
