Lesser Scaups in Clyde (2) and Dorset. Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), American Wigeon (Nottinghamshire), Surf Scoter (Cornwall), two each of both Yellow-browed Warbler and Kumlien's Gull, three of Ring-billed Gull, Snow Goose, and Black Brant, four Shorelarks, six Glossy Ibises, seven Waxwings, and a total of nine Ring-necked Ducks. |

| A first-winter Ross's Gull was discovered at Mutton Island, County Galway this afternoon, a third Lesser Scaup joined the lingering two at West Loch Ollay, Western Isles and a White-billed Diver was seen off Kinnaird Head, Aberdeenshire.
Lingering rarities still present included the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, American Coot in County Wexford, American Robin and Hume's Warbler in Sussex (with another of the latter in Kent), Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, single Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, three King Eiders and a White-billed Diver in Shetland, Black Duck in County Mayo, Lesser Scaups in Clyde (three), Ayrshire and a further individual in Western Isles, Red-breasted Geese in Argyll, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Essex, Cackling Geese in Western Isles (two), Argyll and County Sligo, Semipalmated Plover in County Cork, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Pacific Diver and Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo. Scarcity highlights included a Little Bunting, a Rose-coloured Starling, at least two Lapland Buntings, four Shorelarks, four Waxwings, 25 Glossy Ibises, two Surf Scoters, two American Wigeon, six Green-winged Teals, 16 Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Brant, three Snow Geese, 13 Tundra Bean Geese, a Long-tailed Skua, six Pomarine Skuas, two Kumlien's Gulls, four Ring-billed Gulls, nine Glaucous Gulls and 24 Iceland Gulls. |

| Lingering rarities still present today included the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, Red-breasted Goose in Essex, Cackling Geese in Western Isles (two) and County Sligo, Lesser Scaup in Dorset, King Eider in Highland, Bonaparte's Gull in Glamorgan and White-billed Diver in Shetland.
Scarcity highlights included seven Waxwings, a Little Auk, an American Wigeon, a Surf Scoter, two Green-winged Teals, five Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, three Snow Geese, three Tundra Bean Geese, 24 Glossy Ibises, a Kumlien's Gull, 12 Glaucous Gulls and 18 Iceland Gulls. |

A drake Ferruginous Duck was found in County Tyrone at Ballysaggart Lough. Lingering rarities included the American Robin in Sussex, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Baikal Teal in Somerset, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, 4 Lesser Scaups in Clyde (three) and Scilly, single Red-breasted Geese in Lincolnshire, Argyll, Norfolk and Essex, Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, American Coot in County Wexford, King Eider in Highlands, Spotted Sandpiper in Glamorgan, Hume's Warbler in Sussex and 3 Penduline Tits in Somerset. Scarcities included Little Bunting, 3 Yellow-browed Warblers, 2 Snow Geese, 3 Green-winged Teals, 3 Ring-billed Gulls, 22 Iceland Gulls, 14 Glaucous Gulls, 16 Shorelarks, 21 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 21 Glossy Ibises. |

Big news of the day was the finding of a Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim at Doon Lough late in the afternoon. Lingering rarities included the American Robin in Sussex, Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Ross's Gull in Aberdeenshire, Baikal Teal in Somerset, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, 8 Lesser Scaups in Clyde (three), Argyll (four) and Dorset, Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, single Red-breasted Geese in Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Essex, Cackling Goose in County Sligo, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Hume's Warbler in Sussex, Kentish Plover in Somerset and 3 Penduline Tits in Somerset.
