  Rarities today comprised White-tailed Lapwing and Red-breasted Goose both still in Lincolnshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, American Coot and Lesser Yellowlegs together in County Wexford, Baikal Teals in both East Yorkshire and Somerset, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, both Hume's Warbler and Dusky Warbler in Kent, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, three Penduline Tits together in Somerset, Ferruginous Duck in Surrey, and Lesser Scaups in Argyll (2), Ayrshire, Dorset (2) and Isles of Scilly.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Oxfordshire), Little Bunting (West Sussex), Hoopoe (Cambridgeshire), Richard's Pipit (North Yorkshire), Lapland Bunting (Norfolk), Snow Goose (Lancashire), Green-winged Teal (Dumfries and Galloway), Grey Phalarope (North Yorkshire), Black Brant (Kent), two Great Grey Shrikes, three Yellow-browed Warblers, four Ring-billed Gulls, 10 Surf Scoters, 12 Ring-necked Ducks, 14 Shorelarks, and a total of 53 Glossy Ibises.
