	Rarities today comprised the White-tailed Lapwing still in East Yorkshire, Pacific Diver still in Glamorgan, Spotted Sandpiper on the Isles of Scilly, Ferruginous Duck in Surrey, Richardson's Cackling Geese in both Lancashire and County Sligo, Lesser Scaups in County Cavan, County Cork, and Devon (2), and in Kent a Dusky Warbler was discovered at Fordwich. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Ayrshire), Little Bunting (West Sussex), Ring-billed Gull (Cornwall), Rough-legged Buzzard (Cambridgeshire), Great Grey Shrike (Norfolk), Lapland Bunting (Linolnshire), two each of American Wigeon, Surf Scoter, Snow Goose, Green-winged Teal, Yellow-browed Warbler, Grey Phalarope, and Black Brant, six Shorelarks, 11 Glossy Ibises, and a total of 12 Ring-necked Ducks.
