| Breaking news today included a Pacific Golden Plover in Cambridgeshire at Thorney Dyke, and in Glamorgan confirmation of a dark morph juvenile
Gyr still at Cardiff Bay where it had first been seen on Sunday. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present on the Mainland were the White-tailed Lapwing in East Yorkshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Wilson's Phalarope in Northumberland, King Eider in Moray, and Lesser Scaup in Somerset. On the Isles of Scilly Western Subalpine Warbler, Arctic Warbler and Spotted Sandpiper were all on St Mary's, Lesser Scaup, Hoopoe, Glossy Ibis on Tresco, and Red-breasted Flycatcher on St Martin's. On the Shetland Isles Eastern Stonechat species, King Eider, Ring-necked Duck on Yell, Pallas's Warbler on Unst, and Melodious Warbler, Pallas's Warbler, King Eider, and Ring-necked Duck on Mainland. |
