| The highlight of the day was the discovery of the White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk at Cley, whilst a Bee-eater in Cornwall was at Nanquidno and later Sennen. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present comprised the Elegant Tern on Anglesey, Pacific Golden Plover in Norfolk, both Black Stork and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Bonaparte's Gull on the Shetland Isles, and the Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire. Scarcities included Purple Heron in Cambridgeshire, Rose-coloured Starling on the Western Isles, both Pectoral Sandpiper and Glossy Ibis in Norfolk, Montagu's Harrier in County Cork, and the Long-tailed Skua still on territory on Shetland. |

| The highlight of the day was the Bonaparte's Gull that returned to Oare Marshes, Kent for a ninth summer, a
Kentish Plover was confirmed in West Sussex at Pagham Harbour, and a Red-footed Falcon
was reported in Hampshire at Beaulieu. Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Elegant Tern on Anglesey, the Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, Pacific Golden Plover in Norfolk, Black Stork in Kent, Black Scoter in Aberdeenshire, Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire, both Bonaparte's Gull and King Eider on the Shetland Isles, but in County Donegal the Egyptian Vulture was not seen all day. Scarcities included Golden Oriole (Kent), Cory's Shearwater (County Donegal), Pectoral Sandpiper (Norfolk), Grey Phalarope (Anglesey), two Glossy Ibises, and three Rose-coloured Starlings. |

The West Midlands Region was treated to a Caspian Tern at Middleton Lakes, on the Staffordshire/Warwickshire border. A Black Stork flew west over Dover Castle in Kent, ending up over Rye Harbour in East Sussex at lunchtime. The RV Celtic Explorer encountered a Wilson's Petrel in the pelagic hinterlands 42 miles north of St.Kilda. In Cornwall, a Black Kite was seen high over Tregeare near Launceston. The Egyptian Vulture continued to perform in Co.Donegal, while other lingering rarities included the Elegant Tern in Anglesey, Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, Black Scoter in Aberdeenshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Shetland and Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire. two Pectoral Sandpipers, Temminck's Stint (Northumberland), Long-tailed Skua (Northumberland), Glossy Ibis (Kent), three Rose-coloured Starlings and Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire). |

| Wednesday 14th July 2021 | ||

||
The adult Egyptian Vulture seen on the Isles of Scilly last month was relocated in Co.Donegal, near Dunfanaghy, where it was visible in flight on several occasions. The Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, Least Tern in Co.Dublin, Elegant Tern in Anglesey, Black Scoter in Aberdeenshire, Red-footed Falcon, and King Eider and Bonaparte's Gull in Shetland all remained. Three Bee-eaters were reported south over Bentley in Suffolk. Scarcities included Red-backed Shrike (Cornwall), seven Rose-coloured Starlings, Surf Scoter (Aberdeenshire) and Glossy Ibis (Kent). |

| Tuesday 13th July 2021 | ||

||
| Rarities today comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Elegant Tern still on Anglesey, Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire, a
Black Stork in Kent at Minster Marshes (this bird perhaps having been in
that county since 9th May), Red-footed Falcon still in Wiltshire, a Black Kite in Suffolk over Wangford briefly, and
a Baltic Gull showed again in Oxfordshire. Scarcities included two each of both Pectoral Sandpiper and Glossy Ibis, and a total of six Rose-coloured Starlings. |

| Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Black-browed Albatross in East Yorkshire,
Elegant Tern on Anglesey, Short-billed Dowitcher in County Cork, Snowy Owl
on the Western Isles, Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire, and Bonaparte's Gull
in County Derry. Scarities included two Long-tailed Skuas, three Glossy Ibises, and four Rose-coloured Starlings. |

| Lingering rarities seen today included the Least Tern in County Down, Elegant Tern in Anglesey, Short-billed Dowitcher and Caspian Tern in County Cork, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull in County Derry, two Black-winged Stilts in Norfolk, King Eider in Shetland and Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire.
Scarcity highlights included a Melodious Warbler, a Marsh Warbler, three Rose-coloured Starlings, two Glossy Ibises, a Honey Buzzard, a Leach's Petrel, a Pomarine Skua, two Long-tailed Skuas and two Balearic Shearwaters. |

Norfolk offered up a Black Kite over Burnham Overy then Holt, as well as a Savi's Warbler at Hickling Broad and Pacific Golden Plover back at Cley. A Caspian Tern was seen at Skibbereen in Co.Cork. The Black-browed Albatross performed again at Bempton Cliffs, but only doors only. The Elegant Tern in Anglesey, Short-billed Dowitcher in Co.Cork, Least Tern in Co.Dublin, Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Shetland and Black-winged Stilts in Norfolk and Sussex remained. Other news included Golden Oriole (Scilly), Long-tailed Skua (Dorset) and two Glossy Ibises. |

| In Yorkshire, the Black-browed Albatross returned to Bempton Cliffs RSPB, whilst a Black Stork was a new arrival in Kent at Worth Marsh this evening.
Lingering rarities included the Elegant Tern in Anglesey, Least Tern in County Dublin, Short-billed Dowitcher in County Cork, two Black-winged Stilts in both East Sussex and Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull and King Eider in Shetland and Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire. Scarcity highlights included a Golden Oriole, a Red-backed Shrike, a Common Rosefinch, six Rose-coloured Starlings, a Surf Scoter, three Glossy Ibises, a Long-tailed Skua and an Iceland Gull. |

Aquatic Warbler reported in Kent at Cliffe, and in Norfolk an Alpine Swift
at Cromer, two Black-winged Stilts still at Hickling Broad, and the mobile flock of nine
Bee-eaters showed again. Scarcities included Red-backed Shrike (East Yorkshire), Long-tailed Skua (Shetland Isles), Iceland Gull (Isles of Scilly), and a total of five Rose-coloured Starlings. |
