  Lingering rarities seen today included the Least Tern in County Down, Elegant Tern in Anglesey, Short-billed Dowitcher and Caspian Tern in County Cork, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Bonaparte's Gull in County Derry, two Black-winged Stilts in Norfolk, King Eider in Shetland and Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire.

Scarcity highlights included a Melodious Warbler, a Marsh Warbler, three Rose-coloured Starlings, two Glossy Ibises, a Honey Buzzard, a Leach's Petrel, a Pomarine Skua, two Long-tailed Skuas and two Balearic Shearwaters.
