Tuesday 9th February 2021  
  A Dusky Warbler discovered today in North Yorkshire at Ainderby Steeple is the furthest north of the fifteen Dusky Warblers located in England since 1st December 2020.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were in Devon both the Northern Mockingbird at Exmouth and Lesser Yellowlegs at Aveton Gifford, the White-throated Sparrow in East Sussex at Barcombe, Rustic Bunting in Surrey at Thursley Common, Dusky Warbler in Merseyside at Ainsdale.

Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (County Limerick), Great Grey Shrike (Surrey), Grey Phalarope (Northumberland), Glossy Ibis (Kent), two each of Little Bunting and Green-winged Teal, three of Yellow-browed Warbler and Kumlien's Gull, and a total of 10 Ring-necked Ducks.
