  Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Pacific Golden Plover in Moray, Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Northumberland, Dusky Warbler in Merseyside, Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon, and two Richardson's Cackling Geese together on the Western Isles.

Scarcities included Ring-billed Gull (Clyde), American Wigeon (Northumberland), Yellow-browed Warbler (Surrey), Black Brant (County Dublin), Snow Goose (Western Isles), two Rose-coloured Starlings, four each of Surf Scoter, Green-winged Teal, and Glossy Ibis, and eight of both Ring-necked Duck and Waxwing.
