	Rarities today comprised the Bufflehead still in County Down, Black Duck in County Mayo, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Pacific Golden Plover in Moray, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Dusky Warbler in Devon, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Cumbria, and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Waterford. Scarcities included Richard's Pipit (West Sussex), Rose-coloured Starling (Anglesey), Surf Scoter (Carmartheshire), Great Grey Shrike (Hampshire), two each of Ring-billed Gull, Green-winged Teal, and Grey Phalarope, three Little Buntings, six Yellow-browed Warblers, seven of Ring-necked Duck and Glossy Ibis, and a total of 12 Waxwings.
