In Ireland, the Double-crested Cormorant in Co.Kerry and Belted Kingfisher in Co.Cork both continued their stays. The Black Scoter in Northumberland, Eastern Yellow Wagtails in Suffolk and Somerset, and Rustic Bunting in Surrey were also seen today. Two Dusky Warblers remained in Kent and the Cornish bird was also still present. Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon, North Yorkshire and Co.Waterford. Other highlights included two Ring-billed Gulls, Richard's Pipit (Sussex), Little Bunting (Surrey), two Rose-coloured Starlings, 19 Waxwings, Great Grey Shrike (Suffolk), two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teal, seven Ring-necked Ducks, Grey Phalarope (Dorset) and three Glossy Ibises. |
