In Kent yesterday's Crag Martin was still at Kingsdown until 0729, when it flew south - it was not seen again for the rest of the day. Elsewhere rarity highlights comprised Hudsonian Godwit (Fife), Belted Kingfisher (Co Cork), Desert Wheatears (Cornwall and Norfolk), Pacific Golden Plover (Moray), Lesser Yellowlegs and Long-billed Dowitcher (North Yorkshire), Dusky Warblers (Nottinghamshire, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly [2]). The best of the rest included Serin (Kent), Black-bellied Dipper (Borders) and two each of Red-breasted Flycatcher, Little Bunting and Rose-coloured Starling.
