  Lingering rarities seen today included the Hudsonian Godwit in Fife, Greater Yellowlegs and Eastern Yellow Wagtail in Suffolk, American Buff-bellied Pipit in Northumberland, Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Dusky Warbler in Nottinghamshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Waterford and Long-billed Dowitcher in Cumbria.

Scarcity highlights included a Red-breasted Flycatcher, a Richard's Pipit, a Hoopoe, two Rose-coloured Starlings, two Waxwings, four Great Grey Shrikes, four Lapland Buntings, 14 Glossy Ibises, four Grey Phalaropes, six Leach's Petrels, ten Little Auks, a Kumlien's Gulls, 14 Iceland Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls, two Sabine's Gulls, 30 Pomarine Skuas, a Surf Scoter, an American Wigeon, four Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, a Black Brant, three Snow Geese and five Tundra Bean Geese.
