The most significant news of the day was the sighting of a Scopoli's Shearwater off Mundesley (Norfolk) - the same bird present in Lothian and Fife from 9th-11th August.

Elsewhere new discoveries comprised Citrine Wagtails in Gloucestershire and Shetland and Greenish Warbler in Norfolk.
